DISEÑO DEL HOSPITAL BÁSICO DE SEGUNDO NIVEL DEL CANTÓN BALZAR, PROVINCIA DEL GUAYAS

Abstract

Given the high incidence of teenage pregnancy and the deficiency of the hospital infrastructure belonging to the Ministry of Public Health located in Balzar, province of Guayas, Ecuador. This project focuses on the design of a second level Basic Hospital with their respective specialties, which provides optimal care to the user. Under normative and legal parameters provided by health agencies, with emphasis on universal accessibility, which contributes to the development of the design. Through an applied research, a site visit, which corroborates the current situation of the hospital. And with a qualitative approach where the main demands of the health facility are evidenced. For this reason, interviews with a health professional and an administrative professional were used as a tool to complement the research. Finally, a Hospital proposal is developed to meet the main needs required by the facility.
