The presence of street dogs in the city of Guayaquil generates a risk for its inhabitants and for its urban landscape. Currently, the Municipality is in charge of different sterilization plans to contribute as part of the solution to this problem, however, there is not yet a type of shelter that has the purpose of welcoming these dogs that wander aimlessly through the streets. At the same time, there is an increase in the autistic population at a general level, throughout Ecuador. A group, which does not yet have the full support and services that allow its inclusion at the social level. The present architectural proposal aims to design a shelter and training center for stray dogs in the city of Guayaquil in order to provide them with adequate care and training, and that additionally has a space that allows children with autism to carry out their therapies with the animal. Since the beginning of time, the dog has been called "man's best friend" and the benefits that a pet brings to human life are multiple, and in the case of children with autism, experts indicate that the dog allows the child to connect more easily with the outside world. Therefore, to achieve this objective, this architectural design will have a complete program that provides optimal and high-quality services for both stray dogs and children with autism through dog therapyes
