Título : ASOCIACIÓN ESTADO NUTRICIONAL Y ANEMIA DE NIÑOS MENORES DE 5 AÑOS EN LOS CENTROS "CRECIENDO CON NUESTROS HIJOS" DE LA PARROQUIA SININCAY DURANTE EL AÑO 2018

Resumen : In Ecuador according to ENSANUT - ECU 2012,chronic malnutrition presents an incidence of 25.3% while childhood obesity of 8.6%; on the other hand, anemia had a percentage of up to 25.7% in children from 24 to 35 months. The objective of this study was to determine the incidence of malnutrition, the incidence of anemia and determine a relationship between both parameters. the study was conducted in the parish. Subjects and methods: a quantitative, cross-sectional, retrospective study involving 186 children under 5 years of age. It was obtained through clinical histories: weight, size and value of hemoglobin. There were also included food consumption frequency surveys orientad to dietary iron. Results: 6.4% of the children studied were underweight and 0.5% under severe weight. 20.2% had low size while 1.6 % had a severe low size. With respect to alterations in the BMI: 20:2% were overweight, 5.9% obesity and 2.1% wasting. On the other hand, 25% hand anemia and 2.1% moderate anemia, no severe anemia was reported. There was no relationship and statistical results in the relationship between anemia and nutritional status. But there is concordance according to age and the presence of anemia (RP=0.331,95% CI.153.0.716, p=0.005).
Descripción : En Ecuador, según ENSANUT - ECU 2012, la desnutrición crónica presenta una incidencia del 25,3%, mientras que la obesidad infantil es del 8,6%; Por otro lado, la anemia tenía un porcentaje de hasta el 25,7% en niños de 24 a 35 meses. El objetivo de este estudio fue determinar la incidencia de desnutrición, la incidencia de anemia y determinar una relación entre ambos parámetros. El estudio se realizó en la parroquia. Sujetos y métodos: un estudio cuantitativo, transversal y retrospectivo con 186 niños menores de 5 años. Se obtuvo a través de historias clínicas: peso, tamaño y valor de la hemoglobina. También se incluyeron encuestas de frecuencia de consumo de alimentos orientadas al hierro en la dieta. Resultados: 6.4% de los niños estudiados tenían bajo peso y 0.5% bajo peso severo. El 20,2% tenía un tamaño bajo, mientras que el 1,6% tenía un tamaño bajo grave. Con respecto a las alteraciones en el IMC: 20: 2% tenían sobrepeso, 5,9% de obesidad y 2,1% de emaciación. Por otro lado, 25% de anemia en la mano y 2.1% de anemia moderada, no se informó anemia severa. No hubo relación y resultados estadísticos en la relación entre anemia y estado nutricional. Pero hay concordancia según la edad y la presencia de anemia (RP = 0.331,95% CI.153.0.716, p = 0.005).
