Last Planner System (LPS) is a construction methodology created by Ballard and Howell in 1990 with the purpose of planning and controlling the civil construction projects in an efficient way, associating three fundamental phases being these: the must, the can and the It will be done. LPS introduces innovative concepts to be able to carry out a detailed planning taking from the general to the specific through an analysis of each of the activities that make up a construction project, each phase is carried out a previous analysis required to be able to know if a certain activity It is possible to perform as required. For the respective work control, innovative tools are implemented, such as the Percentage of Complete Activities, and in case of not complying with the plan, there are the Causes of NO compliance The concepts of LPS were applied to a housing representative of low-income housing located in the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador. The implementation of the LPS methodology was implemented both in the planning and in the control of the activities, going through each of the LPS stages and implementing the PAC with their respective CNC. In addition, a productivity measurement was carried out in order to catalog the quality of the work carried outes
