dc.description	Este trabajo de etiología brinda una información sobre los inicios de la iglesia Católica en el Ecuador y su influencia dentro de la sociedad ecuatoriana, con sus manifestaciones culturales y sociales, es un tema que analiza como objeto de estudio la historia de la iglesia católica y la promoción de la fe católica, rescatando los valores que en los ciudadanos se han perdido por falta de cultura, publicidad y educación. Para este tema investigativo se usó una metodología descriptiva, con trabajos de campo, mediante entrevistas y encuestas, para tabularlos y obtener resultados satisfactorios en la investigación; tiene como objetivo analizar la pérdida de fieles católicos, que por el avance de grupos religiosos que con sus métodos innovadores han logrado engañar a los fieles católicos para que dejen su iglesia, para pertenecer a los nuevos movimientos religiosos. ¿Será posible detener este avance de grupos opuestos al catolicismo? ¿La iglesia católica está preparada para enfrentar este reto? ¿Será que la iglesia católica ha descuidado su labor evangelizadora o el mundo globalizado ha fomentado una mayor secularización	es
dc.description.abstract	This work provides information on etiology, the beginnings of the Catholic church in Ecuador and its influence within Ecuadorian society, with its cultural and social manifestations, is a subject under study analyzes how the history of the Catholic Church and the promotion of Catholic faith, rescuing the values that citizens have been lost due to lack of culture, advertising and education. For this research topic a descriptive methodology with fieldwork was used, through interviews and surveys to tabulate and to succeed in the investigation; aims to analyze the loss of Catholics, that the advance of religious groups with innovative methods have managed to fool Catholics to leave their church, to belong to new religious movements. Is it possible to stop the progress of groups opposed to Catholicism? The Catholic Church is prepared to meet this challenge? Could it be that the Catholic Church has neglected his evangelical work or the globalized world has fostered greater secularization?	es
