ANÁLISIS DE LA INCIDENCIA QUE TIENE EN EL TURISMO EL FESTIVAL DE ARTES AL AIRE LIBRE –FAAL- DE GUAYAQUIL

Abstract

The dynamic capacity to produce cultural, social and touristic effects of festivals makes it imminent to propose an analysis such as the present article, in whose description is a priority of the XVIII FESTIVAL DE ARTES AL AIRE LIBRE DE GUAYAQUIL (FAAL), the incidence that has taken from a historical knowledge, its association with tourism and culture and the manner in which the city has responded to this festival based on its last edition, in the knowledge of the organizers, the mentalizador of the project, the perception of managers, communicators, participants, tourism operators who benefit indirectly with this festival. For them, a descriptive research methodology is managed through direct interviews with those involved. The results show that there is no incidence of FAAL in the city's tourism and highlights relevant information. There is the possibility of making the local culture a long-term project that actively includes, and not only as a spectator to the citizen.
