ANÁLISIS DE LA DISMINUCIÓN DE RIESGO EN TERMINALES PORTUARIOS DE GUAYAQUIL: CASO INARPI TPG.

Abstract

The following study case analyzes the discharge, storage and dispatch internal procedures of Messrs. Terminal Portuario De Guayaquil, the same that are affected from the risks with high level of recidivism detailed in the risk matrix. In order to understand the structured guide worked on this paper, the introduction and antecedent’s information, which motivates this study case, is submit along with the objectives and justification of the theme to further analyzed the theoretical elements which support the subject. At the moment the principal risks within the terminal port were detected, we proceed to analyzed the implementations stablished in the procedures with the purpose of mitigate the risks which can lead to future casualties. Finally, it was evaluated the growth regarding cargo movement since 2006, decrease of the risk by the analysis of risk matrix compared to the previous year, customer satisfaction indicators, variation of premium paid and sum insured; the same that will allow us to demonstrate that the measures adopted have generated a reduction of the risks within the terminal port.
